November 28 Pending, pending, still pending. Brazil, it sucks!I'm really desperate to say there is high, no, huge possiblility that I have to stay until the last third part of Jan, 2009. And I still don't know if there would be more changes.
The visa application process of Brazil Embassy had extended to 30 workdays(Much Longer In fact) from 15 workdays since this Oct. The last express bus just missed. We try all of methods we can find attempt to speeding the processing, but all efforts seem useless. In order to pay the visa fee and get visa issued as soon as it's approved, I went to embassy every day, spending hours to stand in queue in the cold wind to check processing state. Telephone Query? Sorry, there is no one answer your call. I guess Tel. and Fax. are not supposed to be used by us.
2 weeks delay makes it impossible to catch the last ofs1 of 2008 in Brazil, and as a result I can not be on board in this year. Sometimes I feel rather rediculous, why they could be so ineffective. Why a 7 days visa cost me waste almost 2 months. Why I get the offer in Nov last year, but still not on board 1 years later.
But I have to accept the fact since I can't change that. And I have to believe all of this is worthwhile.
